Ntwadumela (In-twy-do-may-la) means, “He Who Greets With Fire. With the various biblical examples of God in the Old and New Testaments manifesting his presence as fire, poet Ntwadumela simply means the poet who greets with the presence of God. As a Christian poet I am striving to express God to people, people to God, and our view of God to each other. It is my belief that the enemy of all souls has organized and specific strategies for deceiving and destroying humans. A high priority in these strategies is the dividing of us from each other, the fostering of hate in the world and the belief that if you and I don't agree that somehow means I don't have to love you. It is my desire to to shed light on these strategies and help us all to know God the more.

The Ministry of God's Word part 4 - The preached word of God

When the word of God is preached by a servant of God that word is alive and active in the lives of the hearers. When a servant of God is in touch with and submitted to the spirit of God then the spirit of God enables that servant to wield the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. When the spirit of God is preached in this way the word affects the hearer in amazing ways. In Acts10:44 the Holy Spirit fell on all who simply heard the Word of God. In Mark 16:20 we are told that the disciples preached and God confirmed the Word through accompanying signs. When a servant speaks the Word to people that servant speaks God to the people. In John1:1 we are told that the Word was not only with God but the Word was God. The Word in any manifestation is God. When the Word is preached into a life or situation you are not just getting advice or wise words in that life or situation but you are getting God living and active in that life or situation.

In order for the Word of God and therefore God to be delivered in this way two things have to be present; number one a servant of God broken and submitted to the spirit of God, number two a Word flowing from the heart of God. There is no lack of Word from God. God ever wants to share his Word and therefore himself with the world but there can be a lack of submitted servants to bring this Word. Make no mistake; there is no lack of preachers the lack is only in the submitted servants who are also preachers. Our flesh ever desires to rule our lives this is tragic in the believer but it is disastrous in the preacher. If God seeks to be known through his servant that servant cannot operate out of their flesh.

God allows his servants to minister his word through his spirit. This means the servants intellect, personality, sense of humor, etc is subject and submitted to the spirit of God and then and only then will the Word of God be delivered and not just some words from a preacher based on scripture. Make no mistake to whatever degree a preacher is not broken and every aspect of that preacher’s being not submitted to the spirit of God then to that very same degree the Word of God is hindered and becomes something less than the Word of God. First and foremost on a preacher’s agenda should be seeking to ever be more conformed into Christ likeness subduing our flesh to the spirit of God. God does not need perfection or else we would all be disqualified. In Philippians 3:14 even Paul said he had not yet reached perfection but if we follow his example we are constantly pressing forward to Gods calling of us upward in Christ Jesus. God is seeking one whose only ambition is to be more like him. If we our fleshly in our preaching the Word of God is hindered because the Word is not flesh the Word is only spirit.

The preached Word of God is God moving and expressing himself among us. When the preached Word is given by a humble servant then there is no limit to the affect the Word will have in a life or a situation.
