About Me

My photo
Ntwadumela (In-twy-do-may-la) means, “He Who Greets With Fire. With the various biblical examples of God in the Old and New Testaments manifesting his presence as fire, poet Ntwadumela simply means the poet who greets with the presence of God. As a Christian poet I am striving to express God to people, people to God, and our view of God to each other. It is my belief that the enemy of all souls has organized and specific strategies for deceiving and destroying humans. A high priority in these strategies is the dividing of us from each other, the fostering of hate in the world and the belief that if you and I don't agree that somehow means I don't have to love you. It is my desire to to shed light on these strategies and help us all to know God the more.

Baal Worship Part 3

The idol Moloch was also intertwined with the worship of Baal. This was a hollow Idol with outstretched hands and fire was made inside of this idol until its hands got white hot. A child would then be placed on those hands and burned alive as part of a ritualistic sacrifice. This was known in scripture as passing through the fire. Deuteronomy 18:10.

The culture of destroying natural affections created by the lifestyle practices of Baal was also the culture of destroying innocent babies. The promiscuity and sexual abuse inherent in this lifestyle caused unwanted pregnancies and children, and the sacrifice of the children to this lifestyle was the natural progression of a culture without natural affection. When a culture finds itself full of the cold heartedness and narcissism necessary for sexual abuse and promiscuity it is easy for that culture to dispose of the weak, infirmed and helpless. Life is not valued where there is no natural affection.

The parallels of original Baal worship with our culture are obvious. The enemy’s original design to destroy the natural affection that God intended is alive and flourishing in the world today. We combat Baal worship by loving each other through the Word of God by the Spirit of God. If we follow what is considered normal by the culture and not the Word of God even a so called Christian lifestyle may be only watered down Baal worship in disguise. Christians who don't know the Word of God are Christians living a worldly lifestyle because it is impossible to live anything else but a worldly lifestyle without knowledge of the Word. The enemy has his own worldly morality that he substitutes for truth and many are tricked into thinking they are doing the will of God when in fact they are opposing him. Saul, before he became Paul, had a Godly zeal that caused him to persecute Christ.

As we have said in earlier weeks the answer to any part of the present day deception is the Word of God. This is never truer than in combating Baal worship.
